Lake Tekapo nestled alongside Lake Tekapo, this is a peaceful and unspoiled place. Mount John Obsservatory takes advantage of the clear skies for stargazing. There are several ski areas nearby and during winter months, there's an ice rink for ice skating, hockey and curling. visit the church of the Good Shepherd for a great photo opportunity.
